Why I Came Back to Help Small Business Owners Keep More of Their Money
At 11 years old, I took on my first real business—a newspaper route. Managing a route meant handling inventory, buying supplies, tracking payments, and making sure everything ran smoothly. Over the years, from working as an automotive technician and serving 4 years in the U.S. Army, to running a handyman business and working in telecommunications, I’ve always understood the grit it takes to work hard and keep a business running.
In 2005, after earning my degree in accounting and business management, I built a tax preparation firm that I proudly ran for 13 years.
